The JRS Difference

The Inspiration

My inspiration for starting my spa came from my mother’s brave nine-year battle with cancer. She passed away at the young age of 47 when I was 26. She adored visiting spas and being pampered. However, during her illness, she faced many challenges and was even confined to a wheelchair at times. Unfortunately, she encountered unwelcoming experiences at some spas because she no longer fit the typical mold of a spa customer. She was sometimes greeted by service professionals who were pretentious, self-serving and lacked experience or interest in serving women with special conditions.

I promised her that someday I would open my own spa and make it our mission to make every woman and man who walked through the door feel welcomed and unique, regardless of their body type, health, or income level. It took me almost 19 years, but I finally created Julian Reese Spa in O’Fallon, Missouri, named after my twins, who never had the privilege to meet their fantastic grandmother.

I’ve seen a lot during my almost 50 years in the beauty business. We’ve created a neutral and relaxed atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Our goal is to provide everyone with the opportunity to feel beautiful, so we offer our services at a more affordable price than our competitors. You can find Julian Reese Spa conveniently located in O’Fallon on Highway K near Highway N, in the Crossroads Shopping Plaza, across from Dierbergs and Club Fitness.
